Every Dog Makes A Difference

Let's celebrate the human-dog bond

We're kicking off 2026 by shining a light on the amazing impact that dogs have every single day.

Those of us who are lucky enough to have a dog in our lives know the difference they can make. Maybe your dog greets you with the waggiest tail after a tough day at work or school? Perhaps their daily walks have led you to discover a local nature spot that you wouldn't have found otherwise? Do they provide companionship while you're making dinner (while also doubling up as a vacuum cleaner for any dropped pieces of food)?

Whether it's the small, everyday things, the unexpected moments of mischief, or the comfort they bring during trickier times - we're celebrating all the wonderful things that dogs do.

We'd love to to hear how your dog makes a difference

You can join in the celebrations by sending us a photo or video of your dog and telling us about how they make a difference to your life.

And as a thank you for celebrating with us, you'll be in with a chance of winning a free, one-hour photoshoot for you and your dog.

For the people we support, the difference our dogs make can be life-changing.

At Dogs for Good, our dogs support people with diverse health and social care needs, including dementia, autism, and physical disabilities.

Our dogs help with tasks like opening doors or picking up keys, but they also offer calm, connection and confidence. From helping someone navigate a crowded or noisy street to easing anxiety with a gentle nudge, they help make everyday life possible.

These small, but vital actions bring independence and joy - not just to the people they help, but to the families and community around them.

We create powerful partnerships between people and dogs that make life work a little better for everyone.
