We bring people and dogs together to make life possible

By unlocking the boundless possibilities of the bond we share with dogs, and the positive change these connections can bring about for families, communities and society as a whole.

Why we're needed

Right now, millions of people in the UK are finding the world around them to be inaccessible or unsupportive of their needs. For many people, including those affected by disability, dementia, autism or mental ill health, life is increasingly difficult — and often isolating.

At a time when demand for health and social care is soaring, not everyone can get the support that’s right for them. Support that enables them to face each day with growing confidence, independence and a stronger sense of belonging. The kind of support that makes them feel more positive about themselves and their future.

How we help

At Dogs for Good, we tailor our support to each person or group by first understanding their needs and goals. Our aim is always the same: to help people get the most from their connection with a dog.

Working in the community

In partnership with local services, our community dogs and handlers work alongside people in schools, care homes and community settings. Together, they help individuals build confidence, achieve goals and experience the many benefits of connecting with a dog - often in ways that feel simple, natural and profoundly life-enhancing.
